Self driving cars?

Do you think we should have self driving cars?  Why or why not?

I believe so, they could be nice specially for those who can't get around. I hope they are around when the time comes I can no longer drive.

I'm okay with self driving cars as long as they can make them where they can't be hacked. I don't want someone driving the car off a ravine while I'm sitting in the backseat or whatever.

I love the concept of them. Most accidents are due to human error, so they at least have the potential to eliminate that (although, whether or not that potential will ever be realised is another matter).

Also, they'd allow disabled people (who can't drive) more mobility - and they'd allow you to do things during the journey (instead of having to concentrate on driving).
